Paramount buys the rights to Meet Jimmy

BLOODRAVE’s first short horror film MEET JIMMY was part of a bidding war between studios in the us, which resulted in the rights to the feature film being sold to Paramount Pictures.

meet jimmy follows the story of a young woman listening to a true crime podcast about serial killer jimmy, which leads to her being haunted by him from beyond the grave. what happens when we treat these killers as entertainment?

After winning the 2018 pitch competition from the amsterdam based imagine film festival, bloodrave flew to montréal where they connected with an american maganament team - which led to selling the idea behind the short. after several meetings meet jimmy was sold to paramount after one week, which launched the team. director david-Jan and writer-producer tim will move to los angeles for a couple of months to work closely on the project with the production team of michael bay’s platinum dunes and the picture company.
